Multiple arrests made in La Grande kidnapping investigation

LA GRANDE – On April 17, 2026, search warrants were served on a suspect vehicle and a hotel room connected to the initial kidnapping report. During the searches, investigators seized numerous items of evidence, including multiple handguns, more than 8 grams of fentanyl, drug records, drug paraphernalia, zip ties, duct tape, and other items related to the kidnapping. In addition to serving the search warrants, investigators conducted multiple interviews, reviewed security camera footage, and analyzed evidence.
On April 19, 2026, Desiree Dedman, 41, of La Grande; Adam Corig, 40, of La Grande; and Terry Andrews, 39, of La Grande, were arrested and lodged at the Union County Jail on the following charges:
- Assault I
- Strangulation
- Menacing
- Kidnapping I
- Theft II
- Robbery I
- Pointing a Firearm at Another
- Unlawful Use of a Weapon
