Grant County EOC is the first of its kind to receive grant award

JOHN DAY – Grant County Emergency Management Coordinator Eric Bush was on Coffee Time yesterday expanded on the building improvement grant received by the county for the EOC in Canyon City:
“We got an award for 1.6 million dollars, and that money is based on an architectural inspection that was done on the building in January.
I’m really proud to say that this is the first emergency operations center that has received one of these awards according to the State Grant Coordinator.”
