Bike for the Health of it was “awesome…a great experience”

BAKER CITY – Over 20 individuals participated in the Bike for the Health of it event recently in Baker City. This event was a collaboration between The Trailhead and the Baker School District.

Chelsea Judy with Anthony Lakes said that “For a first go at this, the Bike for the Health of It event was awesome!”

Chelsea noted that some people did take advantage of free use of brand-new bikes purchased by the school district from Mountain Works in La Grande. Also noting that ‘it was a great experience and we’re excited to grow the event. We’re currently discussing more events this summer and possibly taking the event to outlying communities.”
