Life Flight issues letter to membership holders regarding FireMed membership

BAKER CITY – Citizens holding memberships with Life Flight Network likely received a notification this week from Life Flight according to Baker City Managers Jonathan Cannon’s weekly update. This letter comes in response to citizen concerns and questions regarding Life Flight Network/FireMed Membership since the announcement of the discontinuation of the Baker City Ambulance Service.

Effective September 30th, Baker City Fire Department will discontinue their FireMed membership program. You are currently a member of both the Baker City FireMed and Life Flight Network membership programs. Please note, the discontinuance of the Baker City FireMed membership program will in No WAY affect your Life Flight Network air transport membership status. You will continue to receive the financial peace of mind and no out of-pocket expense your Life Flight Network membership offers.
