Driving while distracted is a key contributor to the rise in crashes in Oregon.  Road safety is a top priority, especially while driving around large trucks and buses.  ODOT’s Commerce and Compliance Division encourages drivers to store your phone, pull over to eat or drink, and make sure to set your navigation before hitting the road. FLOOD WARNING FOR MALHEUR COUNTY

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning on Friday in effect until Thursday, May 2 for Malheur County. 

The NWS says, Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast for Owyhee River below Owyhee Dam.

The weather service also states, Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
