JOHN DAY – Legendary Country Music Hall of Fame member and multiple grammy award-winning artist Wynonna Judd issued a statement today, canceling tour dates through August following the death of her mother, Naomi Judd.
Wynonna wrote, “To the fans attending the Grant County Fair Concert on August 12: I am writing to you to share that I am so sad to withdraw from the fair. I am taking the time I need to process the recent loss of my mother. I appreciate your outpouring of love and support, and we WILL celebrate the music again soon. I promise.”
Naomi Judd passed away April 30th, 2022 due to mental health issues.
Grant County Fairgrounds Manager Mindy Winegar said, “The Grant County Fair is working hard with Neste Entertainment to find another outstanding performer to join Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry on August 12, 2022. We will miss having Wynonna and we send our condolences. You can hold onto your tickets and wait for the new headliner to be announced, or we are more than happy to refund your tickets after June 1st.”
Stay tuned and stay posted for updates on the Grant County Fair concert.
