WWPD investigating Halloween stabbing

WALLA WALLA – Officers from the Walla Walla Police Department responded last Thursday at 4:40 p.m. to a report of a stabbing on the 700 block of Woodlawn Street.

The 31-year-old male victm told officers that he was assaulted at his residence by an unknown assailant. The victim’s girlfriend transported him to the local hospital, where he was treated for multiple stab wounds.

An investigation was initiated and a search warrant was granted to enter the victim’s residence where officers processed the scene for evidence. Additionally, the vehicle used to transport the victim to the hospital was seized and will be searched pending a seperate search warrant.

According to WWPD, the victim has not been cooperative with the investigation. Based on initial findings, there is currently no indication of any ongoing threat to the community.
