WWPD investigating concerning social media post referencing Wa-Hi

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla Public Schools reports that police are investigating a concerning social media post. Late Thursday morning, the school district became aware of a post on Instagram referencing Walla Walla High School.

The post was reported to both the social media platform and the Walla Walla Police Department.

By Thursday afternoon, the post had been removed. The school district said the social media post did not contain a threat of targeted violence towards students or staff but described the post as highly inappropriate.
