WWPD arrest man accused of raping child on multiple occasions

WALLA WALLA – Jonathan David Bogle, 50, of Walla Walla was arrested on probable cause May 1 and booked into the Walla Walla County Jail on two counts of rape of a child in the first degree and three counts of child molestation in the first degree.
The Walla Walla Police Department said Bogle’s arrest came after the victim’s family reported it and interviews were conducted.
The victim, now 24, alleges Bogle raped and molested them multiple times between March 2009 and August 2009. The victim was 8 years old at the time the alleged crimes were committed. Bogle was allegedly a friend of the victim’s father.
A day after his arrest, Bogle was released on his own recognizance. He’s scheduled to be arraigned in Walla Walla County Superior Court on May 19.
