WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla Community College is moving ahead with plans to provide in-person instruction and student services this fall. Given rising COVID-19 cases in the region and in alignment with federal and state guidance, WWCC is asking all students and employees to continue to wear face coverings while on campus.

“We are doing everything we can to deliver a high-quality, in-person experience this year while at the same time protecting our community,” President Chad Hickox said. “When current health data and recommendations change, it is our plan to make face coverings optional for those who are fully vaccinated.”

The college is not requiring vaccinations, but is making them available in partnership with the Walla Walla Department of Community Health.  There will be monthly on-campus, vaccination clinics on the Walla Walla campus. The next clinic will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11 in the new Student Recreation Center. Another clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13 on the Walla Walla campus.
