WALLA WALLA – The wife of a Walla Walla man who pleaded guilty to child sex crimes was sentenced Monday in Walla Walla County Superior Court on a separate charge.

Tamara Lynette DeLarosa, 55, was sentenced to time served for tampering with a witness. She pleaded guilty to that charge earlier this month.

“The sentencing range for this felony in Washington with no previous felony convictions is 1-3 months and she had served all time already,” Walla Walla County Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney April King said.

Her husband, Jesse Cantu DeLarosa, 58, pleaded guilty earlier this month to two counts of third-degree child molestation, two counts of indecent exposure, and one count of intimidating a witness for crimes that occurred between 2004 and 2017 in Walla Walla County. His sentencing is set for Dec. 9.

The DeLarosas were arrested in the summer of 2022 in Brownsville, Texas, and were extradited back to Walla Walla County where they had lengthy court proceedings and violated their pretrial release.
