WW Rose Street pavement preservation project begins

WALLA WALLA – The first phase of Walla Walla’s Rose Street pavement preservation project is set to begin today (Monday). Detours will be in place on Rose Street between Second Avenue and Isaacs Avenue.

The project will be spread out into three phases with phase two, chip sealing, set to begin Aug. 19 and phase three, the application of a fog seal, beginning Aug. 22. The dates are subject to change.

The total project, estimated at $4 million, is expected to be completed this winter.
