WALLA WALLA – The city of Walla Walla is now accepting applications for 14 paid parking permits for the city-owned covered parking located behind city hall. The permit fee is $468 a year and will be valid for the next parking cycle which begins July 1.
Complete applications clearly marked “Application for Paid Parking Permit” will be accepted at the city clerk’s office until the deadline of noon on Friday, June 7. A drawing of 14 names will be held at 1:30 p.m. the same day as the deadline.
These 14 paid parking permits must be issued in the name of an individual, not a business nor other entity, and authorize the permit holder to occupy a designated space between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, under the Farmers Market structure.
