WW offers virtual open house for Howard Street project

WALLA WALLA – The Howard Street water, sewer, and road improvement project is scheduled for construction in 2025. The city of Walla Walla is now allowing the community to attend a virtual open house about the project online at https://www.gowallawalla.us/current-projects/howard-street-juniper-to-bryant-irrp-virtual-open-house.
The project starts just south of the Juniper Street intersection and ends just north of the Bryant Street intersection.
Included in the project is reconstructing approximately 1,300 linear feet of Howard Street and constructing a compact roundabout at the intersection of East Chestnut Street and Howard Street.
Bicycle and pedestrian improvements will be included. Design of the estimated $4 million project is progressing and on schedule.
