“The (female) student then exhibited health problems and was taken to the hospital for treatment,” said Sgt. Kevin Braman of the Walla Walla Police Department (WWPD).
According to the WWPD, the victim lost consciousness for several hours.
The suspect, 14, who provided the illegal substance was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Justice Center.
Regarding this incident, Walla Walla Public School issued the following statement:
“The district is committed to providing a safe and civil learning environment for all students. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are not permitted on school grounds. Students in possession or under the influence of these substances are subject to district discipline which could lead to an arrest.”
