WALLA WALLA, Washington – The Washington State Patrol said speeding is the cause of a single-vehicle rollover Tuesday night that sent a Walla Walla man to the hospital.

Troopers said Manuel A. Navarrete, 22, was traveling southbound on State Route 125 at Harvey Shaw Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and rolled his 2001 Volkswagen Jetta.

His vehicle was totaled and he was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center to be treated for injuries sustained in the accident.

WSP said Navarette was charged with second-degree negligent driving.
