WW man arrested for burglary at Macy’s last fall is sentenced

WALLA WALLA, Washington – A Walla Walla man arrested last October for stealing hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from Macy’s in downtown Walla Walla was sentenced Friday morning in Walla Walla County Superior Court.

Jason Wilson, 40, was sentenced to 17 months in prison for second-degree burglary and second-degree malicious mischief.  He received credit for 59 days already served and was ordered to pay Macy’s $1,181.57 in restitution.

According to police, Wilson used a large rock to break glass on the rear door of the department store on the night of October 12, 2018.

Officers quickly located Wilson and took him into custody.
