PRESCOTT – The Walla Walla County Rural Library District’s Vista Hermosa branch in Prescott has been relocated and will celebrate a grand reopening on Monday at 4 p.m.
Executive Director Ana Romero said the district was asked to vacate the previous space by Broetje Orchards’ new management to make room for a medical clinic.
A new lease agreement for a small, classroom-size space was agreed upon last month as part of the Vista Hermosa Community Center building, 74 Sara Lynne Lane.
Romero anticipates this branch being one of the highest foot traffic and circulation locations.
The Vista Hermosa branch will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Romero said WWCRLD is also under contract to provide library services for the city of Prescott and will continue to operate the Prescott branch at 103 South D Street.
