WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla County Public Works has identified several roads that remain impassable as snow drifts remain due to Sunday night’s high wind event. Using heavy equipment, like front end loaders, considerable progress has been made to reduce the number of roads that are impassable.
The roads that remain blocked or partially blocked are Cottonwood Road (one lane open), Londagin Road, Powerline Road (one lane open), Seaman (impassable in the middle/local access only from top and bottom), and Walker Road.
Walla Walla County officials continue to recommend that residents of unincorporated sections of the county use extreme care when driving on rural roads.
Updates are being provided on the Walla Walla County Emergency Management Facebook page and website at www.wwemd.info.
