WW City Council to consider design contract for extending Myra Road

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla City Council will consider Wednesday night a $1.2 million contract with Consor Engineering for the design of extending Myra Road south from State Route 125 to Taumarson Road.

Consor Engineering will consult with the Washington State Department of Transportation on constructing a multi-lane roundabout at State Route 125.

Once completed, the Myra Road South Extension, according to city staff, will improve emergency response and the region’s transportation network. It will also support the development of vacant property in the area. Wednesday night’s city council meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
