WSP issues silver alert for man last seen near Walla Walla

UPDATE 9/19/25 5:02 A.M.: Washington State Patrol has cancelled the silver alert for 74-year-old Joseph Flajole of Kennewick. A post on the WSP Facebook said Flajole was located but did not offer any further details.

KENNEWICK – Washington State Patrol has issued a silver alert for 74-year-old Joseph Flajole of Kennewick, who was seen at 3:37 p.m. Wednesday leaving his residence and his vehicle was last seen on U.S. 12 near Walla Walla at approximately 8 p.m.

His vehicle is a silver 2005 Toyota Carolla with Washington license plate number BFV0676.

Flajole is described as 5’5″, 145 lbs. with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a white hat, grey shirt with front pocket, dark-colored shorts, long light colored socks and black high-top shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911. He may be unable to return without assistance.
