WSP investigating two car injury collision

WALLULA — The Washington State Patrol reports Celena Meza-Ibarra, 42, of Milton-Freewater was injured following a two car collision Sunday afternoon about 2:25 p.m. on Highway 12 near milepost 304.
Troopers said Meza-Ibarra was driving westbound when she lost control of her 2019 Nissan Altima and struck a 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by Christopher M. Olsen, 34, of Walla Walla.
Meza-Ibarra was transported to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco. No further details were released regarding her injuries or condition. Olsen was not injured.
The Washington State Patrol says charges against Meza-Ibarra are pending and that the cause of the accident is under investigation.
