WSP investigating deadly crash in Richland

RICHLAND, Washington – A Pasco man died early Monday morning after colliding with another vehicle on westbound State Route 240 at milepost 19, three miles west of Richland.
The Washington State Patrol said Thomas O. Woodrich, 55, of Pasco was traveling westbound when he entered the eastbound lane at 5:38 a.m. and collided with another vehicle driven by Ryan M. Harris, 47, of Yakima.
Woodrich died at the scene. Harris was not injured. Both vehicles were totaled.
Troopers said it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the fatal traffic collision. The cause is under investigation.
