PASCO – A roundabout project on US 395 and Kartchner Road begins Monday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

WSDOT will build a new roundabout and improve the area with curbs, raised islands, sidewalks, safer pedestrian crossings and ramps, and new lighting.

Travelers should plan for added travel time Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. This work is scheduled to be completed in late November, weather permitting.

Commercial Avenue will close to through traffic from Kartchner Road to East Hillsboro Street for the duration of the project. A detour will be set up for traffic, using Kartchner Road to Capitol Avenue to Hillsboro Avenue.
