UNION & BAKER COUNTIES – ODOT crews continue working on multiple projects this week in Union and Baker Counties. The following updates will take place this week according to ODOT’s resident engineer.
McAlister Rd Bridge: Drilling and installing for anchors for the new rail will continue all week. There will be lane closures and flagging with up to 20 minute delays on McAlister Rd all week.
2nd Street Bridge over I-84: The bridge remains closed to vehicles, but open to bicycles and pedestrians 24/7. The new rail on the east side of the bridge should be completed this week.
OR86 Bridge over I-84 (Richland Interchange): They may begin drilling holes for and installing anchors for the new rail late in the week. There will be flaggers with up to 20 minute delays when work is occurring. There will be no impacts to traffic flow during non-work hours.
