JUNTURA – ODOT Region 5 Community Affairs Specialist Vicki Moles was on KJDY’s Coffee Time speaking on current events regarding our Eastern Oregon state highways.

Moles mentioned that crews have been hard at work removing mud and debris from Highway 20, east of Juntura in Malheur County:

“Right now we have one lane open. That is 10 miles east of Juntura. We do expect delays up to 20 minutes with pilot car escorts, so if you have to drive through there, do expect to stop and wait while crews continue to clear things out. Staying open, of course, depends on the weather.”

Moles said that crews are hoping to have both lanes opened by the end of the week.
