Women’s Soccer Announces 2021 Recruiting Class

LA GRANDE – (Information provided by EOU Athletics) Eastern Oregon University Women’s Soccer and Head Coach Jacob Plocher are pleased to announce their 2021 recruiting class. The group consists of 10 student-athletes that will join the Mountaineers this fall. Of the 10 signees, seven are true freshmen with the other three coming in as transfers.
Four student-athletes hail from the Evergreen State of Washington to lead the group. Three come from Idaho, with two hailing from Alaska. One student-athlete comes from California to round out the recruiting class. Speaking about the 2021 class, Coach Plocher said, “I think we have added another deep recruiting class to join our returners. We brought in 10 new players and feel everyone is capable of making our team better in some way. Our three transfers bring a lot of quality experience and they know our high level of play and what it takes to contribute. Our seven freshmen bring great skill, work ethic and high soccer IQ. They have the ability to grow as players and help us stay competitive on the national stage for many years to come.”
