Woman to spend time in Grant Co. Jail for theft

CANYON CITY – A woman will serve time in jail for theft, according to documents from Grant County Circuit Court. Jennifer Marie Norland, 45, pleaded guilty to Theft in the First Degree—a Class C felony, committed on or about June 30th, 2023.
Norland was sentenced to 10 days in jail, placed on Supervised Probation for 18 months, and ordered to pay $1,800 in restitution. The guilty plea was entered on February 5th.
