Woman sentenced to Grant County Jail on DV harassment charge

CANYON CITY – A woman will get jail time on a harassment charge, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Erika Caroline Nickolisen, 38, was found guilty by a jury of Harassment—Constituting Domestic Violence, committed in March of 2025.
Nickolisen was sentenced to a total of 5 days in jail, placed on Bench Probation for 18 months with Special Conditions—including completion of 80 hours of community service and/or county work crew service, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine. The guilty verdict was entered on December 23rd, 2025.
