Woman jailed on Grant County assault conviction

CANYON CITY – A woman will spend time in jail and on probation on an assault conviction, according to Grant County Circuit Court documents.

Carla Rena Hanson, 44, pleaded guilty to Assault in the Fourth Degree, committed on or around December 26^th, 2024. Hanson was sentenced to 15 days in jail, and placed on Bench Probation for 18 months with special conditions.

Hanson also pleaded guilty to Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree. That count was discharged.
