BAKER CITY — A woman is in jail after being arrested twice in two days in Baker City. On Sunday, December 28th, a Baker City Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Johanna Marie Shelley, 40, of Baker City. Shelley was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of Driving While Suspended and Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants.
In the late-night hours of December 29th, a Baker City Police Officer responded to the report of a disturbance at a location on Hughes Lane in Baker City. As a result, Johanna Shelley was again arrested, this time on charges of Assault IV (Domestic Violence), Violation of a Release Agreement, and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree. Shelley is lodged in the Baker County Jail with no bail listed.
