PENDLETON – Niccole Faye Metcalfe is in Umatilla County Jail now facing a trial in two cases against her. Milton-Freewater police arrested her at 1304 Mill Street on March 6 for multiple felony charges on a secret indictment from a Umatilla County grand jury. Her trial in another criminal case had been scheduled for March 8, but that has been delayed.

The Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office said Metcalfe is charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree robbery, second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, menacing, criminal mischief and coercion. They did not release the details of the incident that prompted those charges.

She was arraigned in court on the new charges on March 7 and given court-appointed counsel. Her bail was set at $270,000. At that arraignment, her trial date was continued and set to track with the new charges.

Her next appearance will be for both cases at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) in Judge Jon Lieuallen’s courtroom in Pendleton.
