MILTON-FREEWATER – A 39-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of arson in connection with the Aug. 15 fire at the Blue Mountain Community College building, 311 N. Columbia St.

The Milton-Freewater Police Department said Araceli Contreras was arrested on the 700 block of North Russell Street and later booked into the Umatilla County Jail for first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree arson.
