SENECA – ODFW livestock depredation investigation documents show that two calves were killed by wolves in the Bear Valley area of Grant County early last month. On February 2nd, a dead 10-month-old bovine calf was found on a private 5-acre land pasture in Bear Valley. The following day, February 3rd, a dead 9-month-old calf was found in a 15-acre private pasture, also in Bear Valley.
Both depredations were confirmed to be associated with the collared wolf OR 183.
