LA GRANDE – Crews of the La Grande Public Works Department have been out removing slush and snow from residential roadways. With temperatures at times above freezing, water runoff is expected to increase dramatically over the next few days.
The La Grande Public Works Department wants citizens to make sure that storm drains are free of slush and debris to allow for snow melt to enter the City’s Storm Water System. Crews will switch to proactive flood management when plowing of the streets has been completed. Please feel free to contact Public Works at (541) 962-1325 with questions.
