HARNEY COUNTY โ A Winter Storm Warning for Harney County, issued by the National Weather Service, is in place through this afternoon. All areas within Harney County are affected. The warning remains in effect until 4 p.m. Monday afternoon for heavy snow, with up to 8 inches of accumulation in the higher elevations. Wind gusts of 45 miles per hour are also possible. today, with mountains seeing anywhere from an additional 5 to 8
inches of snow. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph, mainly over
ridgetops.
* WHEREโฆPortions of southwest and west central Idaho and southeast
Oregon.
* WHENโฆUntil 5 PM MST /4 PM PST/ this afternoon.
* IMPACTSโฆRoads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
