Winter conditions in Harney County are still causing accidents

Harney County-Winter weather just keeps hanging on and the Harney County Sheriff’s Office is asking you to please continue to drive carefully and be prepared for winter conditions.

Over the weekend, Harney County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Tiller, Deputy Rusow and Harney EMS responded to a crash on Highway 205, milepost 60 at Frenchglen, Or.

Due to slick road conditions, the driver slid off P Hill. Fortunately, the driver was able to be assisted up the steep terrain and was transported to Harney District Hospital.
