EASTERN OREGON – The National Weather Service has issued wind advisories for areas including the Grand Ronde Valley and the Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains. Those weather alerts are as follows:
Grand Ronde Valley
What: South winds 25 to 35 MPH with gusts up to 55 MPH expected.
Where: Grande Ronde Valley.
When: From 7 PM Friday to 3 PM PST Saturday.
Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few Power outages may result.
Precautionary/preparedness actions… Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains
What: Southeast winds 25 to 35 MPH with gusts up to 55 MPH expected for the base of the northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
Where: Foothills of the northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
When: From 7 PM Friday to 3 PM PST Saturday.
Impacts Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few Power outages may result.
Additional details Wind gusts along i-84 at the base of the Blue Mountains, including deadman pass, may reach over 60 MPH.
