Wildhorse Foundation Donates Over $120,000 to Eastern Oregon Organizations

EASTERN OREGON – (Information from the Wildhorse Foundation) The Wildhorse foundation has announced that it has donated $390,992 dollars in grants to 29 organizations across Oregon and Washington. Of this funding $120,932 dollars went to 9 organizations in Eastern Oregon. The organizations, the amount they received and what the project the funds are going towards are as follows:

  • Blue Mountain Old-Time Fiddlers’ Association, Union. $ 2,500 For the Rosin Dust Communication Project.
  • Blue Mountain Singletrack Trails Club, La Grande. $20,000 For a La Grande pump prack.
  • Building Healthy Families, Enterprise. $3,800 For phase 2 of the Wallowa Bike Park.
  • City of Elgin Ambulance Service, Elgin. $14,260 For a CPR training manikin.
  • City of La Grande Fire Department, La Grande. $20,000 For purchase of 3 Lucas Chest Compression Systems.
  • Josephy Center for Arts and Culture, Joseph. $19,150 For Technology advancements to enhance the Josephy Center’s program and exhibit experience.
  • Mountain high Broncs and Bulls, Enterprise. $13,722 for MHBB improvements and technology upgrade.
  • Music Camps @ Wallowa Lage, La Grande. $7,500 For tuition support, Music Camps 2023
  • Wallowa County Education Service District, Enterprise. $20,000 for Wallowa County daycare.

In addition, the Wildhorse Foundation has established two rapid response grants for $1,000 dollars each. Though smaller, these grants can be submitted and reviewed at any time.
