BAKER CITY (Release from the Wallowa Whitman National Forest), Whitman Ranger District would like to inform the public that as of May 1, 2023 we will be unable to sell commercial fuelwood, post and pole, transplant, commercial mushroom permits, maps, and recreation passes until approximately May 9, 2023. The office will still be open for general questions and free-use permits. Whitman Ranger District commercial fuelwood, commercial mushroom, maps and recreation passes will be available at the following locations:
