Whiskey Gulch Gang seeking parade entrants for ’62 Days

CANYON CITY – The annual ’62 Days celebration in Canyon City commemorating the discovery of gold in Grant County will be June 10th and 11th this year. Colby Farrell, Whiskey Gulch Gang president, along with member Keila Qual, explained a little about the parade and said they’re looking for folks and organizations to enter:

“COLBY: The parade—it’ll start at 11, I believe lineup starts at 9 and Kim Groves’ livestock 4-H group, they’re the ones organizing that. [To Keila] Do you have Kim’s email?”

“KEILA: Yeah, it’s going to be kimber_young@hotmail.com.”

In addition, the Whiskey Gulch Gang posted this to their Facebook page:

We’re happy to have the Luce Creek Livestock 4H group organizing the parade this year. If you have any questions you can contact us here, whiskeygulchgang@gmail.com and also the organizers at chipgrove74@icloud.com, kimber_young@hotmail.com or Bobbeeboethin@gmail.com. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to paricipate in the parade, the categories are mounted individual, mounted group, walking group, antique car, group entry, business entry and best representation of 1862.
