HELIX – The organizers for the Wheatstock Music Festival in Helix have announced their lineup for the two-day event Aug. 15-16 at the Helix Rodeo Arena. Early ticket sales begin Monday.

Friday will spotlight Southall. Opening the show, Them Dirty Roses will return and Darci Carlson will also perform. Saturday’s headliner is Josh Meloy. Opening for him will be Kolton Moore & the Clever Few. The Lowdown Drifters will return and Kenny Feidler and Tylor and the Train Robbers are also on the bill.

Wheatstock is held every year featuring large-scale and local Americana, folk, and country artists. This is the third year the festival has been held for two days. In addition to great music, it offers food vendors, camping, a beer garden, merchandise sales, a VIP area, and optional cabana-shade seating. It happens on the plush grass arena of the Helix Rodeo Grounds and patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Wheatstock, Inc.is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that began in 2007. All proceeds from the event go to Griswold and Weston-McEwen high school seniors’ scholarships, the Helix School District music program, and Cross the Divide Veterans Program. It has raised a total of more than $90,000 for those charities.

Tickets can be purchased at https://www.etix.com/ticket/ or at https://www.wheatstock.org/ beginning Monday. For more information, visit the Wheatstock website.
