LA GRANDE – The La Grande Police Department celebrated their newest police office this week. Garrett Jones was sworn in by Chief Gary Bell. According to the department, Office Jones “is a Montana native, but has lived in La Grande for the last two years. He is also a veteran of the armed services working in the Army National Guard from 2014 to present and served in Iraq in 2019 – earning numerous commendations.”
The La Grande Police Department notes that they are “excited to have Ofc. Jones join our police family and serve our community.”
