Winter Storm Warning issued February 3 at 2:20PM PST until February 5 at 10:00AM PST by NWS Pendleton OR
…SNOW THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING…
.Significant snowfall is expected to occur in two waves, one tonight and the second late Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.
* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches.
* WHERE…Wallowa County.
* WHEN…Until 10 AM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Periods of moderate and heavy snow will combine with low visibilities to create difficult driving conditions

*NOAA Issue Date: 2/3/2025 02:20:00 PM
Snow through Wednesday morning
Significant snowfall is expected to occur in two waves, one tonight and the second late Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.
* What: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches.
* Where: Wallowa County.
* When: Until 10 AM PST Wednesday.
* Impacts: Periods of moderate and heavy snow will combine with low visibilities to create difficult driving conditions.
Precautionary/preparedness actions…
Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive in case you become stranded. Do not touch downed lines and report any Power outages to your electric company. Travel is highly discouraged due to slick roadways and the possibility of downed trees and Power lines.

* What: Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches except up to 15 inches over the mountains above 6000 feet.
* Where: Baker county.
* When: Until 4 AM PST Wednesday.
* Impacts: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
Precautionary/preparedness actions…

* Where:In Idaho, Boise mountains. In Oregon, Harney county.
* When: Until 5 PM MST /4 PM PST/ this afternoon.
* Impacts:Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions.
