The following weather alerts have been issued by the National Weather Service
𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬
WINTER STORM WARNING
What: Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.
Where: Foothills of the southern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
When: Until 4 AM PST Friday.
Impacts Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Additional details A break in the snow is expected during the day Thursday, before another round of snow develops late Thursday evening through early Friday morning. What: Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches.
Where: In Oregon, northern Blue Mountains of Oregon. In Washington, northwest Blue Mountains.
When: Until 4 AM PST Friday.
Impacts Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Additional details I-84, including Meacham, is expected to receive an additional 1 to 3 inches of snow. Precautionary/preparedness actions… Slow down and use caution while traveling. DENSE FOG ADVISORY
What: Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
Where: Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and foothills of the northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
When: Until noon PST Thursday.
Impacts Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Additional details Dense fog has been observed along highway 11 between Pendleton and Milton-Freewater, highway 204 near Weston, and interstate 84 along cabbage hill. Precautionary/preparedness actions… If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
