WINTER STORM WARNING
What: Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.
Where: Foothills of the southern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
When: Until 4 AM PST Friday.
Impacts Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Additional details A break in the snow is expected during the day Thursday, before another round of snow develops late Thursday evening through early Friday morning. DENSE FOG ADVISORY
What: Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
Where: Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and foothills of the northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
When: Until noon PST Thursday.
Impacts Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Additional details Dense fog has been observed along highway 11 between Pendleton and Milton-Freewater, highway 204 near Weston, and interstate 84 along cabbage hill. Precautionary/preparedness actions… If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
