WB I-84 closed between La Grande, Cabbage Hill

UPDATE: Road has been reopened

LA GRANDE – The westbound lanes of Interstate 84 between La Grande and Cabbage Hill are closed due to a crash, with snowy conditions in the area.

The alert was issued around 9 p.m., and at that time ODOT said to expect the closure to last a couple of hours but that was dependent on conditions. As of 11:45 p.m. it was still closed.

Oregon 204 is also closed to any vehicles except passenger vehicles and local freight to prevent commercial vehicles trying to circumvent the I-84 closure.
