Leak in Dayville prompts a “Boil Water Advisory”

DAYVILLE – The City of Dayville is currently under a “Boil Water Advisory.”
A boil water notice has been issued for all residents on the Dayville city water system. A leak occurred overnight Wednesday, completely draining the reservoir. Dayville Public Works has located the leak and the area has been shut off. The crew does not know how long it will take for the reservoir to fill back up and are asking residents to boil their water before ingesting to eliminate possible contamination, and to continue doing so until further notice.
