BAKER COUNTY – On Tuesday, September 2nd, the Oregon State Police Arrested 38-year-old Kyle Meyer of Sequim Washington after he was caught driving at 103 miles per hour at twice the legal blood alcohol limit. The arrest originally occurred along I-84 Eastbound near milepost 319, southeast of Baker City. An OSP description of the arrest (as listed in a recent press log) is as follows:
“OSP conducted a traffic stop near mile post 319, 184 East Bound on a gray 2020 Dodge truck for a speed violation of 103mph. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested and transported to the Baker County Jail, where he provided a breath sample containing a BAC of.16. The driver was cited and released for DUII and Reckless driving. The vehicle was towed.”
Meyer’s charges at the time of citation included DUII – Intoxicants and Reckless Driving.
