KENNEWICK – The Kennewick Police Department said the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Richard Jacobsen, 34, for the alleged crime of second-degree murder.

Jacobsen is accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend, Brandy Ebanez, 34, of Kennewick and dumping her body into the Columbia River. Her remains were found by a fisherman on Sept. 27.

Currently in custody in the Multnomah County Jail in Portland, Jacobsen has yet to be extradited from Oregon, but KPD said this will occur soon.
